Incoloy Alloy 800 is widely used in equipment that must have high strength and resistance to oxidation, carburisation and other harmful effects of high temperature exposure.

With this advantage, all of the pipeline using industries has a great opportunity to increase their pipeline system efficiency and decrease their need for workforce and time.

Alloy 317L is non-magnetic in the annealed condition.

They are used for high temperature service, where resistance to oxidation and carburisation are required. For optimum stress rupture properties, or for pressure vessel service above 815¡ãC, Incoloy 800H or Incoloy 800HT should be used.

The higher molybdenum content of Alloy 317L assures superior general and localized corrosion resistance in most media when compared with 304/304L and 316/316L stainless steels.

Grade 304 stainless steel is generally considered the most common austenitic stainless steel.

Hastelloy C-276 resists the formation of grain boundary deposits in the weld heat affected zone, making it a candidate material for most chemical and petrochemical processing applications in the as-welded state. The alloy resists general and localized corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

In most instances, the carbon content of the plate enables dual certification.

The number of welds on a spool must be kept in a minimum count. The dimension of the spacing between circumferential welds and the center lines must not be larger than the four times the wall thickness of the pipe or fitting. After the main welds, tacks welds must be done precisely. All welds in the spools must be implemented according to proper Welding Procedure Specification (WPS). After the welding process is done, quality control of the components is performed by the specialists.

Inconel is a superalloy made of high concentrations of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. Inconel 625 is highly resistant to corrosive and oxidizing media in a variety of environments. These alloys have excellent ductility and excellent formability. They can be welded easily and are resistant to post-weld carburization or graining.

Inconel 718 consists primarily of nickel (52%). Alloying elements include iron (19%), chromium (18%), niobium + tantalum (5%), molybdenum (3%), titanium (0.9%), aluminum (0.5%), in addition to other trace elements such as Baron, Cobalt, Copper, Manganese and Silicon.

Some typical applications for Inconel 625 include chemical processing, aerospace and marine engineering, pollution control equipment and nuclear reactors.

The high amounts of nickel and chromium in austenitic stainless steels provide excellent mechanical properties, as well as excellent corrosion resistance.

This nickel steel alloy has good resistance to heat affected and knife-line zone attack. This alloy also bears the brunt of formic, sulfuric, phosphoric, acetic acids and various other non-oxidizing media.

There are different material grades used to produce these spools. The 304 stainless steel is the most used grade. Alloy K500 is refined by Electro Slag Refining (ESR), ensuring the cleanest and highest quality of material is supplied.

As a corrosion resistant alloy, Monel 400 can withstand high temperature steam environments and fast flowing brackish/seawater, while maintaining excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in most fresh waters.

The tees are also used for the change of the flow angle and distribution of the flowing matter either into one or more channels. Tees can be divided into two main groups which are the butt welded tees and the socket welded tees. The butt welded tees are utilized to perform a perpendicular distribution of the flow. They make 90¡ã branches with the connection of the pipeline and distribute the coming matter from the mainline.

One of the distinguishing features of Inconel 718¡¯s composition is the addition of niobium to permit age hardening which allows annealing and welding without spontaneous hardening during heating and cooling.

Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy (about 67% Ni ¨C 23% Cu) that is resistant to sea water and steam at high temperatures as well as to salt and caustic solutions.

Under alternating oxidizing and reducing conditions the alloy may suffer from selectiveo xidation.

INCONEL 718 alloy was primarily chosen by design engineers for its high strength in extreme temperature conditions at both ends of the spectrum. It can be used from low temperatures all the way up to 1300¡ãF/704¡ãC. It exhibits extremely high yield, tensile and creep rupture properties across the entire range. It also exhibits excellent tensile and impact strength.

Overcoming the impact of downtime caused by corrosion, stress and extreme temperatures, and the cost impact of failure rates and safety has driven the industry to look for materials like Monel 400, which provide increased reliability in harsh conditions.

Monel K-500 combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 with the added benefits of higher strength and hardness. Performance can be improved by adding aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper matrix and by heating under controlled conditions to precipitate submicroscopic particles of Ni 3 (Ti, Al) throughout the matrix.

316L, however, is a better choice for a project that requires a lot of welding because 316 is more susceptible to weld decay than 316L (corrosion within the weld).

Stainless steel grade 254 SMO? is a very high end austenitic stainless steel.

The addition of copper to this grade gives it better corrosion resistance than conventional chromium-nickel stainless steels, especially against sulfuric, phosphoric and acetic acids. However, the use of hydrochloric acid is limited.

Stainless steel 904L / 1.4539 material can be used to make hot and cold rolled sheet and strip, semi-finished products, bars, rolled wire and profiles, as well as seamless and welded pipes for pressure applications.
