Incoloy 825 is a superalloy with molybdenum and copper added to Incoloy 800. This makes Alloy 825 superior to Alloy 800 in terms of corrosion resistance.

HASTELLOY C276 is one of the few alloys resistant to wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions.

Therefore the selected radius of the elbow can be very important. The other type of elbows is reducing elbows. Therefore, it has strong resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion. It is also resistant to hydrogen chloride, sulfuric acid, acetic acid and phosphoric acid.
