Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions (a form of degradation to
which the austenitic stainless steels are prone). With its high chromium and molybdenum
contents, it is able to withstand both oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids, and is resistant to
pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

Hastelloy c22/C276 fasteners have good dimensional accuracy, corrosion resistance, durability, high durability, high flexibility, strong structure, high tensile strength and other characteristics. Hastelloy X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy. It has excellent oxidation resistance, workability and high temperature strength. It also exhibits good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. It shows very good ductility after prolonged exposure at 1200 to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. It has excellent forming and welding properties, and is widely used in furnaces for aircraft and gas turbines.

HASTELLOY X is a wrought nickel-based alloy with excellent high temperature strength and oxidation resistance. All product forms are excellent in forming and welding. Although HASTELLOY X is primarily known for its heat and oxidation resistance, it also has good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and good carburization, as well as excellent resistance to reducing or carburizing atmospheres. Alloy X is one of the most widely used nickel-based superalloys for gas turbine engine components.

Plates are designed by continuous rolling and casting or, in most instances, steel is processed into a bullet then hot rolled to be shaped in its final plate thickness. Akin to steel plates, rolled ring forgings are forged in the same process ¨C it differs only in terms of rolling directions.
For cups having comparative large thickness and plates having
complicated cross-sectional shapes, plate forging is more useful than billet forging due to due to
comparatively small change in shape.

They combine the outstanding resistance to the oxidizing medium of Hastelloy C276 with superior resistance to non-oxidizing situations.

HASTELLOY G-30 alloy is a high-chromium nickel-based alloy that exhibits corrosion resistance superior to most other nickel- and iron-based alloys in commercial phosphoric acid and in many complex environments containing highly oxidizing acids such as nitric/hydrochloric acid, Nitric/hydrofluoric and sulfuric acid. The resistance of G-30 alloy to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the heat affected zone makes it suitable for the as-welded condition in most chemical processing applications.

Hastelloy C-276 alloy excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizers such as ferric and cupric chlorides, and hot contaminated media (organic and inorganic).

Hastelloy G-30 is commonly used for providing excellent resistance to chemical conditions.
It offers resistance to nitric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid.
Corrosion resistance properties are also retained even in welded form. High ductility. It is
used in chemical treatment plants, agitator blades, nuclear plants etc.

ASTM B619 welded pipe for the pharmaceutical industry has good corrosion resistance, especially to high purity water. And they also show good resistance to corrosion by buffer solutions used to prepare pharmaceuticals if ASTM B619 UNS N10276 is also exposed to cleaning supplies.

These bolts can also withstand a variety of acid binding environments, such as those containing sulfuric, acetic, formic, and phosphoric acids.

Hastelloy X fasteners, also known as UNS N06002 fasteners, have excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. It is very resistant to stress corrosion cracking but has excellent ductility when subjected to 16,00 hours of torture at temperatures up to 1,600F. It is also suitable for furnaces, heaters and many high temperature applications because it is weldable, heat treatable and relatively easy to machine. That’s why we think Hastelloy X fasteners basically offer the best of both worlds – corrosion and heat resistance.

INCONEL alloy C-276 is designated as UNS N10276 and Werkstoff Nr. 2.4819. It is listed in NACE MR0175 for oil and gas service.
