It is used in a variety of environments ranging from moderately oxidizing to strong reducing conditions. Alloy C-276 has exceptional resistance to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, chlorides, solvents, wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine solutions.
