It demonstrates good resistance to neutral and reducing environments. This alloy creates a tenacious oxide, protective film that does not spall off, but it retains superior oxidation resistance at soaring temperatures.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

End use applications include stack liners, ducts, dampers, scrubbers, stack gas reheaters, heat exchangers, reaction vessels, evaporators, transfer piping and many other highly corrosive applications.

C276 Elbow has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of concentrated hot acids and reducing environments and can be easily used in hot sulfuric and hydrochloric applications.

This nickel alloy has excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures.

This alloy is exhibiting good corrosion resistance at aggressive reducing media like hydrochloric acid that range of concentrations and temperatures and in medium-concentrated sulphuric acid and with limited chloride contamination.

In the case of Hastelloy-C276, the corrosion product was primarily a protective chromium oxide scale, although slightly thicker regions of the same oxide formed at the site of microcracks on the metal surface. Very little carburization was observed in this alloy before exposure for at least 1000 hours.

Alloy C22 is one of the most corrosion-resistant alloys available, even outperforming C276 and 625. It is resistant to almost all reducing and oxidizing environments, including strong oxidizers, seawater, and organic acids.
