Stainless Steel pipe fittings Grade 316 3D 5D pipe bend for high corrosion and high temperature applications

316 pipe bend is the superior choice for high corrosion and high temperature applications. Since 316L contains less carbon than 316, it has better intergranular corrosion resistance, meaning its welds won¡¯t decay, unlike with 316 stainless steel.

Alloy 316/316L is ideally suited for applications requiring corrosion resistance superior to Type 304 and has good elevated temperature strength. Stainless steel 316 is a type of stainless steel that is highly corrosion resistant and can be used in extreme environments. It is usually welded with filler metals of the same grade, 316 or 316L (or the silicon containing versions) which retains corrosion resistance and strength. These grades are pre-qualified weld metals to AS1554.6:1994 for welding grade 316 to itself. Type 316 grade stainless steel is particularly effective in acidic environments. This grade of steel is effective in protecting against corrosion caused by sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic, and tartaric acids, as well as acid sulfates and alkaline chlorides.
