Nickel-copper-based alloy 400 Monel 2.4360 cold drawn rod is virtually immune to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking when exposed to corrosive media in typical environments. Monel 400 is a copper and nickel based alloy that is popular today due to its high performance. The alloy has excellent acid and alkali resistance. In addition, it has good tensile strength, ductility, excellent thermal conductivity, and can be hardened by cold work. Additionally, it can be used in applications with temperatures ranging from minus to 538 degrees Celsius.

It is widely used in offshore oil and gas exploration/production and in heat exchangers in petrochemical/chemical processing.

Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

Inconel 600 round bar is a nickel-based alloy with benign carburization and excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Inconel 600 round bars are effective against drying Cl2 and many other different gases at mild and high temperatures. Alloy 600 bar is a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance and resistance to chloride pressure decomposition cracking, high cleanliness water corrosion and acid oxidation at elevated temperatures.

310S stainless steel has good high temperature resistance. When the temperature exceeds 800 [1], it begins to soften, and the allowable stress begins to decrease continuously. The maximum operating temperature is 1200 ¡ãC. Due to the high content of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), it has good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and high temperature resistance. After the content, the strength is improved due to its solid solution strengthening effect. The chemical composition characteristics of austenitic stainless steel are based on chromium and nickel with elements such as molybdenum, tungsten, niobium and titanium added. Therefore, it has high strength and creep strength at high temperature.

Blind flanges have the face thickness of a flange, a matching face type, and similar bolting pattern.

There are studs, washers, threaded rods, screws, etc. Each type of fastener has its own advantages and application requirements. Carbon steel screws can be used without nuts. It can be driven with a screwdriver.

For stainless steel flange, appropriate stability elements such as Ti, Nb and Mo are added to improve corrosion resistance and weldability. The weldability is better than that of chrome stainless steel flange.

Alloy 310 (UNS S31000) is an austenitic stainless steel developed for high temperature corrosion resistant applications. The alloy resists oxidation up to 2010oF (1100oC) under mild cycling conditions. Due to its high chromium and moderate nickel content, alloy 310 is resistant to sulfidation and can also be used in moderate carburizing atmospheres.
