Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Seamless piping is required for many high-pressure, high-temperature applications in the oil & gas, power generation and pharmaceutical industries. Welded piping (which is generally cheaper to produce and is more widely available) is specified across all industries as long as the temperature, pressure and other service variables do not exceed parameters noted in the applicable standard.

These Hastelloy B2 are a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy with significant resistance to reducing environments such as hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric acid, acetic acid and phosphoric acid. Alloy 725 (UNS N07725) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy that is highly corrosion resistant and age hardened to twice the strength of annealed alloy 625. The strength of Alloy 725 is increased by heat treatment rather than cold treatment. This also gives strength to large uneven parts that cannot be strengthened by cold work.
