Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. high-temperature strength. It has also been found to be exceptionally resistant to stresscorrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. X alloy exhibits good ductility after prolonged exposure at temperatures of 1200, 1400, 1600¡ãF (650, 760 and 870¡ãC) for 16,000
hours.

Unlike chrome-nickel steel, this steel does not reduce corrosion resistance due to carbide precipitation. A182 is a rolled or forged alloy flange specification for high pressure services and systems. We offer F11 alloy steel flanges with carbon content up to 3%, which gives flanges room to enhance their weldability and formability, while also increasing their overall strength.

Though it is important to keep in mind that pitting corrosion can be a concern in chloride solutions when oxidizing media is present. In these conditions, the passive (protective) layer of the Duplex 2205 material may be compromised in localized pitting may occur.
