ASTM A182©F55 is a super duplex stainless steel, mainly used in various strong corrosive environments. Strong strength and corrosion resistance, it has strong resistance to chloride corrosion, high thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient. The ASTM A182 Grade F53 is a super duplex stainless steel which includes a 50% austenite 50% ferrite microstructure. There are different pressure ratings for the flanges based on the system of measurement. Under the ANSI standard, the pressure classes range from class 150 through class 2500.
