Inconel 600 round bar is a nickel-based alloy with benign carburization and excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Inconel 600 round bars are effective against drying Cl2 and many other different gases at mild and high temperatures. Alloy 600 bar is a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance and resistance to chloride pressure decomposition cracking, high cleanliness water corrosion and acid oxidation at elevated temperatures.

Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened metal. Nickel 200 Bar Stock contains 99.6% wrought nickel by weight and is considered commercially pure nickel. DIN 2.4066 Bar has good mechanical and physical properties. For example, ASTM B160 N02200 has excellent resistance to many corrosive compounds as well as corrosive environments. Meanwhile, Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened wrought alloy that can be designed as round bars and rods. These two components are used interchangeably and can be distinguished from certain key functions.

Nickel-copper-based alloy 400 Monel 2.4360 cold drawn rod is virtually immune to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking when exposed to corrosive media in typical environments. Monel 400 is a copper and nickel based alloy that is popular today due to its high performance. The alloy has excellent acid and alkali resistance. In addition, it has good tensile strength, ductility, excellent thermal conductivity, and can be hardened by cold work. Additionally, it can be used in applications with temperatures ranging from minus to 538 degrees Celsius.

Alloy C276 bar can be used for welding in most chemical process environments. Alloy C276 rods can be successfully fabricated in a number of ways. Inconel C276 round bars also have exceptional corrosion resistance and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. These Inconel C276 rods are available in a variety of sizes to meet customer application requirements.

Inconel 600 bar is high temperature heat resistant. Inconel Alloy 625 round bars have up to 58% nickel and up to 23% chromium. Inconel 625 bar is primarily used in chemical processing applications.

It also resists pitting and crevice corrosion well in fresh seawater at temperatures up to 50¡ãC (122¡ãF).

Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that is resistant to corrosion.C276 alloy is suitable for many chemical process applications.

Inconel 718 is a chromium and nickel based alloy with additional amounts of titanium, niobium, iron, molybdenum and aluminum. This alloy has high mechanical strength and durability to withstand extreme environmental conditions. Inconel 718 round bar has excellent resistance and solderability. These bars have excellent overall corrosion resistance in high temperature and high pressure applications.

Incoloy 825 round bar has excellent resistance to a variety of environmental and corrosive conditions such as stress corrosion cracking, reducing environments, oxidizing environments, pitting, crevice and intergranular corrosion. G30 alloy can prevent the formation of grain boundary precipitation in the heat affected zone of welding, so its welded products are suitable for various chemical treatment engineering applications.

Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium precipitation hardening alloy that maintains good ductility and high strength at temperatures up to 1300°F.

The main applications for the engineering grades 90-10 and 70-30 copper-nickel alloys are in seawater piping, heat exchangers and condensers.

In addition to high ductility, the material shares several other characteristics with nickel. For example, ASTM B164 Monel 400 round bar is well suited to work in moderately reducing applications because nickel works very well in reducing environments.

Inconel 625 bar can withstand high stress and a wide range of temperatures, in and out of water, as well as resist corrosion when exposed to highly acidic environments, making it ideal for marine and nuclear applications.

The Monel K500 is essentially a stronger, stiffer version of the Monel 400. It exhibits the same high corrosion resistance as this alloy, with added aluminum and titanium content for increased strength and hardness. Monel K500? is heat treated under controlled conditions to precipitate submicroscopic particles of Ni 3 (Ti, Al) throughout the material.

Inconel 718 (also known as UNS N07718) is a precipitation hardening nickel superalloy with excellent corrosion resistance and strength as well as high weldability.

Alloy 625 is especially useful where oxidation resistance and pitting avoidance are required. In the annealed condition, this Inconel is fully austenitic and suitable for machining. Due to its high alloy content, it provides excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of severely corrosive environments. With a nickel content of nearly 60%, it is virtually immune to stress corrosion cracking.

One of the most important characteristics of Monel 400 is that stress corrosion cracks do not occur in general, and the cutting performance is good. The structure of Monel 400 is single phase solid solution with high strength.

Hastelloy UNS N10276 cold drawn bar has excellent resistance in a variety of chemical process environments. For example, Hastelloy C276 UNS N10276 square bar is resistant to corrosion in a variety of media, including strong oxidants (such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride), hot fouling media (may be organic or inorganic), chlorine, acetic anhydride , formic acid and acetic acid, as well as good tolerance to seawater and saline solutions.

INCONEL? alloy 718 (UNS N07718/W.Nr. 2.4668) is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423¡ã to 1300¡ãF. Inconel alloys are resistant to oxidation and have the ability to maintain its structural integrity in high temperature atmospheres.

In addition to oxidation, the metal is also resistant to the effects of carburization. As an austenitic stainless steel type, this alloy has some temperature limitations, but has the advantage of varying the carbon content.

Alloy 925 is a nickel-based alloy with major additions of iron and chromium, but also molybdenum, copper, titanium, and aluminum. The combination of high strength and corrosion resistance makes it suitable for applications such as valves, hangers, packers and pipes in sour gas environments. It can also be used for fasteners and pump shafts in marine environments.

The combination of nickel and chromium provides protection in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. The high nickel content also provides resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion is also excellent. The alloy is produced by a vacuum remelting process, but can be supplied using an air melting single-consumer electrode (VAR or ESR) practice if material specifications permit.
