Inconel 600 round bar is a nickel-based alloy with benign carburization and excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Inconel 600 round bars are effective against drying Cl2 and many other different gases at mild and high temperatures. Alloy 600 bar is a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance and resistance to chloride pressure decomposition cracking, high cleanliness water corrosion and acid oxidation at elevated temperatures.

Nickel-copper-based alloy 400 Monel 2.4360 cold drawn rod is virtually immune to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking when exposed to corrosive media in typical environments. Monel 400 is a copper and nickel based alloy that is popular today due to its high performance. The alloy has excellent acid and alkali resistance. In addition, it has good tensile strength, ductility, excellent thermal conductivity, and can be hardened by cold work. Additionally, it can be used in applications with temperatures ranging from minus to 538 degrees Celsius.

Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened metal. Nickel 200 Bar Stock contains 99.6% wrought nickel by weight and is considered commercially pure nickel. DIN 2.4066 Bar has good mechanical and physical properties. For example, ASTM B160 N02200 has excellent resistance to many corrosive compounds as well as corrosive environments. Meanwhile, Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened wrought alloy that can be designed as round bars and rods. These two components are used interchangeably and can be distinguished from certain key functions.

Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. Due to its high nickel content, Inconel 600 is extremely resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Age hardening is not required as Inconel 600 is hardened and strengthened by cold work only. The Inconel 600 can operate in temperatures as low as 700¡ãF (370¡ãC).

This alloy has long been used in the heat treatment industry for many of the same applications as RA330. Alloy 600 has useful resistance to dry Cl2 and HCl gases at moderately elevated temperatures. Due to the elevated nickel content, alloy 600 is not recommended for use in red hot conditions when sulfur is present.

Inconel 718 (also known as UNS N07718) is a precipitation hardening nickel superalloy with excellent corrosion resistance and strength as well as high weldability.

Nickel alloy 601 rods consist of 58-63% nickel. Inconel is a general purpose nickel-chromium-iron alloy. It is popular as an engineering alloy and 601 is best suited for applications requiring heat and corrosion resistance.

Alloy 600 is an excellent choice for a variety of applications. It is a highly corrosion and heat resistant material, and its high thermal conductivity means it has a low coefficient of thermal expansion.

The ASTM B166 specification is the standard for Alloy 718 ASTM B166 hot rolled bar.

Incoloy is a group of superalloys mainly made of nickel, iron and chromium. They are designed for corrosion resistance and high creep and rupture properties. Incoloy 825 round bar uses additional copper and molybdenum.

One of the main benefits of using nickel alloys is that they tend to be resistant to high temperatures. ASTM B425 UNS N08825 bar stock has a nickel content between 38% and 46% and is able to withstand a moderately high temperature range without affecting its tensile strength. Inconel 625 round bar has the following properties: Excellent fatigue and thermal fatigue capabilities, high tensile, creep and rupture capabilities Excellent resistance to oxidation, excellent weldability and brazability. Chloride stress degradation destroys tolerance.

It also resists pitting and crevice corrosion well in fresh seawater at temperatures up to 50¡ãC (122¡ãF).

Monel 400 is a kind of corrosion resistant alloy with large dosage, wide use and excellent comprehensive performance. Monel 400 has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium.

Alloy 31 is a nickel, chromium and molybdenum stainless steel with added nitrogen and copper. It combines moderate tensile strength with high ductility, excellent corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid, reducing and oxidizing media, and strong corrosion and erosion corrosion resistance in phosphorus environments.

Alloy C276 bar can be used for welding in most chemical process environments. Alloy C276 rods can be successfully fabricated in a number of ways. Wear-resistant steels such as EN31 tend to have higher strength properties, which make them durable in a wide range of applications. Although the strength of this material is high, it can be increased by tempering the alloy steel EN31 equivalent. In addition to improving their wear resistance, many brittle alloys are tempered for tougher parts. Between 150 – 300¡ãC (i.e. the EN31 tempering temperature), the alloy is heat treated, then impregnated and the material is then quenched. Unlike some alloys that may be quenched in water, EN31 round bar quenching requires the use of oil.
