Both hardness and tensile strength can be increased by cold work, which can lead to slight magnetism.

In order to suppress the welding of carbide precipitation, 304/304L stainless steel pipes can be welded by common welding methods. Manual arc welding, the thin section size of 304 stainless steel with 0.04%-0.06% carbon can be used with Austrian 002 electrode, which will not cause intergranular corrosion after welding. UNS S31254 is an alloy material with anti-corrosion effect, its density is 8.0g/cm3, and the melting point is 1320-1390¡æ. High molybdenum content and high chromium and nitrogen content make UNSS31254 extremely good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The addition of copper improves corrosion resistance in certain acids. In addition, UNSS31254 has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking due to its high nickel content and high chromium and molybdenum content.

Like steel, 316 stainless steel is primarily composed of iron and carbon. It is also a common coil material for vaporizers.

A flange is a ring of steel (forged, cut from plate, or rolled) designed to connect sections of pipe, or to join pipe to a pressure vessel, valve, pump or other integral flanged assembly. Flanges are joined to each other by bolts, and to the piping system by welding or threading (or loose when stub ends are used). Stainless steel flange simplified as SS flange, it refers to the flanges that made of stainless steel. Common material standards and Grades are ASTM A182 Grade F304/L and F316/L, with pressure ratings from Class 150, 300, 600 etc and to 2500.
