These stainless steel ASTM A453 Grade 660 bolts can be used up to 700¡ãC. This alloy achieves high tensile strength through a high degree of homogeneity. ASTM A286 bolts have an impressive minimum yield strength of 105,000 psi. Because SA 453 660 grade material retains its high strength even at high temperatures, these fasteners and bolts are commonly used in high temperature environments such as jet engines, turbocharger components, and gas turbines.

904L (N08904, 14539) super austenitic stainless steel contains 14.0-18.0% chromium, 24.0-26.0% nickel, 4.5% molybdenum. 904L super austenitic stainless steel is a low-carbon, high-nickel, molybdenum austenitic stainless acid-resistant steel, which is a proprietary material imported from French H¡¤S Company. It has good activation-passivation transformation ability, excellent corrosion resistance, good corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid, and good corrosion resistance in neutral chloride-containing media Excellent pitting corrosion resistance, as well as good crevice corrosion resistance and stress corrosion resistance. It is suitable for various concentrations of sulfuric acid below 70 ¡ãC, and has good corrosion resistance in acetic acid of any concentration and temperature under normal pressure, as well as in the mixed acid of formic acid and acetic acid.

Alloy 316H (UNS S31609) is a high carbon modification of Alloy 316 developed for high temperature service. This alloy has higher strength at elevated temperatures and can be used in structural and pressure vessel applications above 932¡ãF (500¡ãC). The higher carbon content of 316H also provides higher tensile and yield strengths than 316/316L, and its austenitic structure provides excellent toughness at low temperatures.

While 300 series stainless steels are very popular, they are not universally suitable for all process piping applications. For example, even though they are corrosion resistant, 300 series formulations do not perform well in the presence of chlorides. In these cases, steels with much higher alloy contents such as molybdenum, chromium and nickel are preferred.

Type 316 stainless steel tubing is similar to 304, but with the addition of molybdenum, which improves the alloys corrosion resistance. The austenitic structure allows excellent toughness, even down to extremely low temperatures. These grades have excellent weldability, with or without the addition of filler metal. 316 / 316L stainless tube is available as round, square or rectangular shapes.
