UNS N08367 also commonly referred to as alloy AL6XN is a low carbon, high purity, nitrogen-bearing “super-austenitic” nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion.

AL6XN is a superaustenitic stainless steel with outstanding resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. AL6XN is a 6 moly alloy that was developed for and is used in highly aggressive environments. It has high nickel (24%), molybdenum (6.3%), nitrogen and chromium contents that give it excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, chloride pitting, and exceptional general corrosion resistance. AL6XN is primarily used for its improved pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chlorides. It is a formable and weldable stainless steel.

SAE 304 stainless steel is the most common stainless steel. The steel contains both chromium (between 18% and 20%) and nickel (between 8% and 10.5%)[1] metals as the main non-iron constituents. A flange is a ring of steel (forged, cut from plate, or rolled) designed to connect sections of pipe, or to join pipe to a pressure vessel, valve, pump or other integral flanged assembly. Flanges are joined to each other by bolts, and to the piping system by welding or threading (or loose when stub ends are used). Depending on the nature of the application, bars and rods can be used in industry. Stainless steel bars and bars are divided into hot rolled and cold rolled, but cold rolled bars are accurate in size and have the largest supports, supports, motors, etc.

UNS S31600 material is considered a marine grade pipe and is designed without any welds or seams. The grade performs well in different aqueous media and shows resistance to pitting corrosion by chlorides and any contaminants. The superior chemistry of this grade prevents long-term plumbing in water bodies. However, marine-grade pipelines are susceptible to warm waters.

This kind of steel can be continuously exposed to temperatures of about 1500¡ãF without appreciable scaling.Schedules :Sch.40 to Sch.XXs

316 and 316L steel plates and tubes have common properties and are often double certified, which confirms that both have properties and compositions consistent with both steel types. The Model 316H was excluded from this because, unlike the 316 and 316L, the 316H was designed to operate at higher operating temperatures.

Chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen increase resistance to pitting corrosion. Nickel imparts the austenitic structure.

Stainless Steel 316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to SS 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels.

Stainless steel 316 butt weld joints are made of chrome-nickel-molybdenum alloy austenitic stainless steel. The material has good corrosion resistance, similar strength to 304 grade steel, and good hardness.

For 304 stainless steel pipe corrosion resistance,excellent performance in a wide range of atmospheric environments and many corrosive media. Pitting and crevice corrosion can occur in warm chloride environments, and stress corrosion cracking can occur above about 600C. It is considered to be tolerant of drinking water up to about 200mg/L chloride at ambient temperature, dropping to about 150mg/L at 600C.
