UNS N08367 also commonly referred to as alloy AL6XN is a low carbon, high purity, nitrogen-bearing “super-austenitic” nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion.

After hot working, anneal the tube by heat to 1725 and 1850 for at least half an hour to match the inch thickness observed by water quench. Intergranular corrosion (IGC) in pipe fittings, also known as intergranular corrosion (IGA), is a form of corrosion in which the crystallite boundaries of fabrics are particularly susceptible to corrosion.
