ASTM A335 Alloy Steel Pipe is suitable for ASTM A234 WPx Series Butt Weld Fittings (WP5, WP9, WP91) and A182 Fx Forged Fittings and Flanges (A182 F5, F9, F11, F22, F91). All of these materials have similar chemical and mechanical properties and can be joined or welded.

Impact strength as well as high surface smoothness are the result of round bar forging of alloy steel DIN 1.7335. Once the materials are forged, they are allowed to cool to the temperature specified by the specification ASTM A 182.
