Alloy C276 bar welding products are used as a matching composition filler material for welding C276 alloy forged and cast products in dissimilar welding applications including other NiCrMo alloys and stainless steels, as well as for surfacing or cladding of steel. Parts thermoformed in HASTELLOY C-276 alloy bar should, if possible, be solution heat treated prior to final fabrication or installation.
