Hastelloy X alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy with excellent oxidation resistance and high temperature strength, while still being easy to manufacture. It has also been found to be extremely resistant to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. This alloy exhibits good ductility after prolonged exposure to temperatures of 1200¡ã, 1400¡ã and 1600¡ã (650¡ã, 760¡ã, 870¡ã Celsius) for up to 16,000 hours.
