2507 (UNS S32750) is a super duplex stainless steel designed for applications requiring excellent strength and corrosion resistance.

This alloy resists chloride environments and sulfide stress corrosion. It is also roughly double the strength of standard austentic stainless steels.

Since the material is also resistant to acids and chlorine compounds, it could see its application in marine environments, especially in saltwater containing chlorine compounds. The ferritic portion of the duplex structure of Super Duplex 2507 round bar alloy makes it resistant to stress corrosion cracking in warm chloride-containing environments.

ASME SA 479 UNS S32205 Fastener is a corrosion resistant and high strength super alloy that can be used in low temperature ranges up to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit.

In general, duplex steel S31803 plate can be used as a replacement for the rather expensive stainless steel alloy grade 904L, as 2205 SS plate has similar properties but is less expensive in composition.

Duplex stainless steel offers excellent resistance to corrosion and very high mechanical strength. Duplex bolts S31803 are widely used in several industries due to the enhanced strength transferred from the structural austenitic portion. In contrast, the ferritic fraction instills superior toughness from the transport of the fine structure. ASTM A1082 specification alloy S31803 fasteners have higher pitting and crevice corrosion than stainless steel alloy 316. Due to its higher corrosion resistance, alloy grade UNS S31803 is able to exhibit better fatigue strength than other commonly used austenitic stainless steel grades in environments containing corrosive media.

Duplex 2205 fasteners are made from standard duplex materials. The material consists of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum, 4.5% nickel and nitrogen.

Super Duplex Steel UNS S32760 are dual phase austenitic-ferritic duplex fasteners manufactured from alloy containing chromium, nickel and molybdenum with restricted carbon content and minimum PREN42. Zeron washers have high strength, resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, erosion and corrosion fatigue, crevice corrosion resistance.

Combining many of the beneficial properties of ferritic and austenitic steels, 2205 is the most widely used duplex grade. Its high chromium and molybdenum conutenut gives stainless steel excellenut corrosion resistance.

Duplex 1.4462 round bars also have low thermal expansion and high thermal conductivity as well as high corrosion and erosion fatigue properties compared to austenite. The corrosion resistance of duplex 2205 is almost twice that of other austenitic stainless steels.

2507 (UNS S32750) is a super duplex stainless steel designed for applications which require exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. 2507 is a 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel alloy resulting in excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion attack.

The 2507 pipes could also be electric fusion welded. The Pipes Manufacturer comes under five different classes with each class having a special mechanical property setup. The electric resistant welded pipes are stronger and they could be used for extensive welding.
