Steel pipes can be disintegrated on the basis of its application. For 304 stainless steel tube heat resistance, it has good oxidation resistance in intermittent use at 8700C and continuous use at 9250C. Continuous use of 304 in the 425-8600C range is not recommended if subsequent water corrosion resistance is important. Grade 304L is more resistant to carbide precipitation and can be heated to the above temperature range.
