ASTM A182 F53 flanges refer to flanges made from super duplex stainless steel 2507 (UNS S32750) by a hot forging process.

The flanges shall not be used at temperatures over 600¡ãF [315¡ãC] since it may be subject to embrittlement after service at moderately elevated temperatures.

Super Duplex UNS S32760 is one of the most common super duplex grades on the market. UNS S32760 is a duplex stainless steel designed for use in corrosive chlorine-containing environments, with the addition of W and Cu compared to UNS S32750.

The idea of duplex stainless steels dates back to the 1920s with the first cast being made at Avesta in Sweden in 1930. However, it is only in the last 30 years that duplex steels have begun to ¡°take off¡± in a significant way. This is mainly due to advances in steelmaking techniques particularly with respect to control of nitrogen content.

The yield strength of duplex stainless steel is twice that of austenitic stainless steel. This feature allows designers to reduce weight when designing products, making this alloy more cost-effective than 316, 317L.

2205 flange has good sulfide stress corrosion resistance and high strength and good fatigue resistance.

Alloy 2507 has 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel. This high molybdenum, chromium and nitrogen content results in excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion attack and the duplex structure provides 2507 with exceptional resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.

2205 is the most widely used duplex (ferritic/austenitic) stainless steel grade. It finds applications due to both excellent corrosion resistance and high strength.

The S31803 fastener series demonstrates the properties of ferritic and austenitic stainless steels. These fasteners exhibit excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion in harsh environments. In addition, these are excellent in resistance to chloride and sulfide stress corrosion environments.

The properties of S31803 nuts are even double those of standard austenitic grades.

ASTM A182 F51 flanges refer to pipe flanges made from the forged duplex stainless steel grade UNS S31803 for use in pressure systems.

Stainless Steel Duplex SAF 2205 Hex Bolts are used in machinery and construction and can be used with nuts or threaded holes. Since they can be tightened with a wrench, fully threaded hex bolts are specially designed to work more efficiently. Additionally, 2205 hex bolts are stronger than standard stainless steel, meaning they can be used for jobs that require high workloads and good corrosion resistance.

The structure of 2205 duplex stainless steel consists of a pool of austenite surrounded by a continuous ferrite phase. In the annealed condition, 2205 contains approximately 40-50% ferrite. 2205 is often referred to as the workhorse grade and is the most widely used grade in the duplex stainless steel family.

Super Duplex 2507 is designed to handle highly corrosive conditions and where high strength is required. The high molybdenum, chromium and nitrogen content in Super Duplex 2507 helps the material withstand pitting and crevice corrosion.

UNS S31803 Bolted Fasteners are used in marine, agricultural, chemical, construction, shipping, aviation, nuclear and industrial equipment.

ASTM A240 Type 2507 Duplex Sheet is an alloy used in applications with high strength and corrosion resistance. The composition of the duplex 2507 sheet is approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel and 4% molybdenum. This composition makes it resistant to crevice corrosion and chloride pitting.

The most widely used stainless steel alloy is duplex 2205. It is also known as Duplex 2205 or Duplex 2205. It has ferritic and austenitic properties, making it ideal for environments with strong corrosion resistance. Good strength is a primary requirement. Duplex 2205 studs are essentially just a piece of threaded rod, in some cases, they are all designed to accept nuts, such studs are called stud bolts. It has excellent corrosion resistance and is superior to stainless steel 316 in most environments.

S32750 is used for marine applications, flue gas scrubbing equipment, and pulp & paper mill equipment.
