The flange connection type usually comes with a double unit, with washers and some bolts and nuts to connect to each other. Flange connection is convenient, flexible and labor-saving. When the pipeline is repaired, the screws on the flange can be removed, and the corresponding pipeline or valve can be removed. Also replace with new pipes and valves.

There is more carbon in 316 stainless steel than 316L. This is easy to remember because the L stands for “low”. But even with the lower carbon content, 316L is very similar to 316 in almost every way. Costs are very similar, and both are durable, corrosion-resistant, and a good choice for high-stress situations.

It is rolled into strip steel after process treatment. Generally, the strip steel is unpacked, flattened, crimped, and welded to form a round tube, then the round tube is rolled into a square tube and then cut to the required length. Usually 50 pieces per pack.

The term “flange” is also used for a kind of tool used to form flanges.

431 is a high chromium, low nickel, high hardenability martensitic stainless steel with high strength and good corrosion resistance. Compared to other 400 stainless grades, 431 stainless steel is designed to improve corrosion resistance and toughness, especially in quench hardened stainless steel. Alloy 310 (UNS S31000) is an austenitic stainless steel developed for high temperature corrosion resistant applications. The alloy resists oxidation up to 2010oF (1100oC) under mild cycling conditions. 1.4529 (UNS N08926) has very high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media and in acidic environments containing sulfur and hydrogen
It can effectively resist chloride ion stress corrosion, and also has good corrosion resistance and good stability in oxidizing and reducing media.
