Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. A105 Flanges are disc-shaped parts, which are the most common in pipeline engineering. Flanges are used in pairs and matched with them on valves. In pipeline engineering, flanges are mainly used for pipeline connections. In the pipelines that need to be connected, flanges can be installed in a variety of ways. Wire connection flanges can be used for low-pressure pipelines, and welding flanges can be used for pressures above 4 kg. Add a washer between the two flanges, then tighten with the bolts.

Duplex steel UNS S31803 hex nuts are widely suitable for the effects of sulphurous gases, especially above 900 degrees Celsius, very low.

For applications requiring greater resistance to stress rupture and creep, especially at temperatures above 1500¡ãF (816¡ãC), INCOLOY alloys 800H and 800HT are used.

It is common for 316 and 316L to be stocked in “Dual Certified” form – mainly in plate and pipe. These items have chemical and mechanical properties complying with both 316 and 316L specifications. Such dual certified product does not meet 316H specification and may be unacceptable for high temperature applications.

Commercially pure wrought Nickel with good mechanical properties over a wide range of temperature and excellent resistance to many corrosives, in particular hydroxides.

Good resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis and is most useful under reducing conditions. Outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis up to and including the molten state. In acid, alkaline and neutral salt solutions the material shows good resistance, but in oxidizing salt solutions severe attack will occur. Resistant to all dry gases at room temperature and in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride may be used in temperatures up to 550C. Resistance to mineral acids varies according to temperature and concentration and whether the solution is aerated or not. Corrosion resistance is better in de aerated acid.
