HASTELLOY B-2 ALLOY. A nickel-molybdenum alloy with outstanding resistance to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids in the as-welded.Hastelloy B2 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with significant resistance to reducing environments.

The A320 Gr L7 stud material will undergo the following parametric tests – Impact Test, Tensile Test and Hardness Test according to the mechanical specification of A320 Grade L7 Bolts. The specification of A320 Gr L7 Hdg covers several grades of stainless steel including austenitic and ferritic stainless steels.

Over and above the nickel copper base, elements like aluminium and titanium in the chemistry of the Monel K500 Lap Joint Flange proves to be very fruitful. In fact, this modified chemistry along with the heat treatment that is given to the alloy under controlled conditions ensures that the particles of both Ti and Al have been precipitated in the matrix of Monel K500.

While 300 series stainless steels are very popular, they are not universally suitable for all process piping applications. For example, even though they are corrosion resistant, 300 series formulations do not perform well in the presence of chlorides. In these cases, steels with much higher alloy contents such as molybdenum, chromium and nickel are preferred.
