AL6XN is a superaustenitic stainless steel with outstanding resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. AL6XN is a 6 moly alloy that was developed for and is used in highly aggressive environments. It has high nickel (24%), molybdenum (6.3%), nitrogen and chromium contents that give it excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, chloride pitting, and exceptional general corrosion resistance. AL6XN is primarily used for its improved pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chlorides. It is a formable and weldable stainless steel.

Alloy 800 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with high strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. ASTM B407 UNS N08800 Incoloy 800 W. Monel K500 (alloy K500), UNS N05500 (QQ-N-286), is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the corrosion resistance of Monel alloy 400 with greater strength (over 2x as strong) and hardness. It also has low permeability and is nonmagnetic to temperatures as low as -150¡ãF (-101¡ãC).

The?ASTM A182 F304 Flanges?could be cleaned easily with a mild detergent. Despite undergoing repeated cleaning processes, these flanges won¡¯t wear away, an ability it exhibits due it its good wear resistance properties. Moreover, since grade 304 is an alloy that can be easily formed into various shapes, it is easily manufactured into any type of?ASME SA182 F304 Pipe Flange?such as a weld neck flange or an?Inox 304 Slip On Flange.

The carbon content of 304L (UNS 30403) is limited to a maximum of 0.03% to prevent sensitization during welding.

While the chemical composition of stainless steel 304l round bars may not differ much from grade 304, this alloy has undoubtedly proven to be very useful. This low carbon ASME SA479 Type 304l round bar has been modified to increase its weldability.

Two criteria for evaluating oxidation resistance are weight change and depth of corrosion penetration. HASTELLOY X pipe bend excels in both respects due to the formation of a protective, tenacious oxide film.

This alloy also displays good heat resistance and freedom from aging or stress corrosion throughout the annealed to heavily cold worked condition range.

Compared to 302, stainless steel 309 studs have a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel for cold heading, typically for hot heading of large diameter or long bolts. One of the best properties of Grade 309 is its resistance to high or elevated temperatures. Similar to grade 310, the high chromium content in stainless steel 309 gives it this heat resistance.

Inconel 718 is a precipitation hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing large amounts of iron, niobium and molybdenum, and small amounts of aluminum and titanium. 718 material maintains high strength and good ductility at temperatures up to 1300¡ãF (704¡ãC). Compared with other precipitation hardening nickel alloys, this alloy has relatively good weldability, formability and excellent low temperature properties. The alloy’s slow precipitation hardening reaction makes it easy to weld without hardening or cracking. Inconel? Alloy 718 is non-magnetic. It maintains good corrosion and oxidation resistance for applications requiring high creep and stress-rupture resistance at temperatures up to 1300¡ãF (704¡ãC) and oxidation resistance up to 1800¡ãF (982¡ãC) parts.

They can also resist aqueous corrosion and hence can be used in marine applications.

A Super Duplex 2507 Pipe has outstanding resistance to corrosive and oxidative media.

U-Bolt medium carbon steel contains 0.3-0.59% carbon, which provides the alloy with increased strength and good wear resistance. It is easy to machine and is used for forging and auto parts. High carbon steel and ultra-high carbon steel are very strong and are used in springs and high strength products. These alloys can be tempered to very high hardness without becoming brittle and are used in very high wear applications. The carbon content of these alloys is 0.6-0.99% high carbon steel and 1.0-2.0% ultra-high carbon steel.
