AL-6XN alloy (UNS N08367) is a low carbon, high purity, nitrogen-bearing ¡°super-austenitic¡± stainless alloy. The AL-6XN alloy was designed to be a seawater resistant material and has since been demonstrated to be resistant to a broad range of very corrosive environments.

Neither the 316 nor the 316L are the cheapest options. The 304 and 304L are similar but less expensive. Neither are as durable as 317 and 317L, they have higher molybdenum content and better overall corrosion resistance.

The steel of UNS S31254 is a super austenitic stainless steel. They are high-end stainless steels designed for impact toughness against chloride crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion. These are austenites with high nickel and chromium content.

AISI904L washers are thin flat ring type component bolted between a bolt and a nut to evenly distribute the load of the threaded fasteners. Common Types of 904L washers include plain flat, split lock, spring type, tab wasers, square wasers, square bevelled, hexagon shape wsher and so on.

The corrosion resistance of Monel alloy K-500 is subtantially equivalent to that of alloy 400 except that, when in the age-hardened condition, alloy K-500 has a greater tendency toward stress-corrosion cracking in some environments.

Nickel Alloy 600, also sold under the brand name Inconel 600. It is a unique nickel-chromium alloy that is known for its oxidation resistance at higher temperatures.

The flange is second most used joining method after selding. Flanges are used when joints need dismantling. It provides flexibility for maintenance. Flange connects the pipe with various equipment and valves. Breakup flanges are added in the pipeline system if regular maintenance in required during plant operation.
A flanged joint is composed of three separate and independent although interrdlated components; the flanges, the gaskets, and the bolting; which are assembled by yet another influence, the fitter. Special controls are required in the selection and application of all there elements to attain a joint, which has acceptable leak tightness.
A flange is a protruded ridge, lip or rim, either external or internal, that serves to increase strength (as the flange of an iron beam such as an I-beam or a T-beam); for easy attachment/transfer of contact force with another object (as the flange on the end of a pipe, steam cylinder, etc., or on the lens mount of a camera); or for stabilizing and guiding the movements of a machine or its parts (as the inside flange of a rail car or tram wheel, which keep the wheels from running off the rails). The term “flange” is also used for a kind of tool used to form flanges.

Monel 400 and K500 flanges also exhibit excellent corrosion resistance in marine applications and have reasonable corrosion resistance to sulfuric and hydrochloric acids under reducing conditions.

Copper-nickel is most commonly used in electrical and electronic products, condenser tubes for ships and power plants, various marine products including valves, pumps, fittings, and hull jackets.

Alloy 800H 800HT are two individual solid solution strengthened, iron nickel chromium alloys. They are typically o?ered as one, dual certi?ed alloy, meeting the chemical composition requirements of both alloys.

The oxidation corrosion resistance and corrosion resistance of acid solutions and halide solutions required for the production of bleached paper such as 254SMO are comparable to the most elastic of the Nitinol base alloys.

Another important characteristic of Monel 400 Blind Flange is its resistance to halides or halogen containing solutions.
