Incoloy Alloy 800 is widely used in equipment that must have high strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization and other harmful effects of high temperature exposure. For services requiring optimum creep and rupture properties, use Incoloy 800H or 800 HT. The high content of nickel and chromium in the alloy also provides good corrosion resistance.

Compared with ferrite, it has higher plasticity and toughness, no room temperature brittleness, significantly improved intergranular corrosion resistance and welding performance, and maintained 475 ¡æ brittleness, high thermal conductivity and Superplasticity of ferritic stainless steel. Compared with austenitic stainless steel, its yield strength is significantly improved, and its resistance to intergranular corrosion, stress corrosion, corrosion fatigue and abrasion is significantly improved.

Bolts made from Alloy 926 are a super austenitic molybdenum stainless steel with comparable corrosion resistance to Super Duplex 2507, but with slightly lower strength and cost. Chemically nearly identical to 6-molybdenum alloys AL6XN and SMO 254, alloy 926 is commonly used in paper mills, desalination and mild acid environments.

Nuts and bolts exhibit low strength. However, mild steel is highly flexible. High ductility is a property that makes the material ideal for machining and welding. No different elements – used as an alloying agent, not other types of steel, which makes nuts and bolts known as low-cost bolts.

904l stainless steel round bar is an austenitic grade alloy. The added molybdenum content in stainless steel 904L square bar alloy gives it excellent resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice corrosion if compared to alloy grade 316l.
