To create heat and corrosion resistant materials with lower nickel content for commercial use, the 800 series alloys are made. Incoloy 800 has 2 notable changes. Alloy 800H (UNS N08810) limits the carbon content to the higher end of the acceptable range for Incoloy 800. Alloy 800 HT (UNS N08811) limits the carbon, aluminium and titanium content all to the high end. The advantages of confined chemistry result in higher creep strength and stress rupture performance.
