Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. AL6XN is a 6 moly alloy that was developed for and is used in highly aggressive environments. It has high nickel (24%), molybdenum (6.3%), nitrogen and chromium contents that give it excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, chloride pitting, and exceptional general corrosion resistance. AL6XN is primarily used for its improved pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chlorides. It is a formable and weldable stainless steel.

Like steel, 316 stainless steel is primarily composed of iron and carbon. However, stainless steel also contains at least 10.5% chromium, a metallic element that imparts a metal surface finish and excellent corrosion resistance. Stainless steel is ideal for long-term applications that will be exposed to elements, moisture and potentially corrosive chemicals. It is also ideal for sensitive industries such as food preparation and pharmaceuticals, as the risk of contamination is much lower.

A flange is a ring of steel (forged, cut from plate, or rolled) designed to connect sections of pipe, or to join pipe to a pressure vessel, valve, pump or other integral flanged assembly. Flanges are joined to each other by bolts, and to the piping system by welding or threading (or loose when stub ends are used). Stainless steel flange simplified as SS flange, it refers to the flanges that made of stainless steel. Common material standards and Grades are ASTM A182 Grade F304/L and F316/L, with pressure ratings from Class 150, 300, 600 etc and to 2500. It used in more industries than carbon steel as stainless steel has better resistant performances on corrosion environment and always provides with a good appearance.

Though it is important to keep in mind that pitting corrosion can be a concern in chloride solutions when oxidizing media is present. In these conditions, the passive (protective) layer of the Duplex 2205 material may be compromised in localized pitting may occur.

Hastelloy B2 is a nickel base wrought alloy with excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures.

304 fittings are standard “18/8” stainless steel; it is the most versatile and widely used stainless steel available in a wider range of products, forms and finishes than any other. It has excellent forming and welding characteristics.

The 904L grade stainless steel is widely used for various commercial purposes and is known for its abrasion resistance properties. The AISI 904L Stainless Steel Hex Nuts come with low carbon content, as low as 0.02%, which makes them resistant to sensitization by welding. In other words, the UNS S08904 Threaded Rod and other equipment of the same steel grade are resistant to intergranular corrosion.

Inconel Square Pipes is similar to other stainless steel but with a titanium addition of at least five times the carbon content. This addition in Inconel Rectangular Pipes reduces or prevents carbide precipitation during welding and in the 800 Degree C 1500 Degree F service conditions.

Incoloy Alloy 800 / 800H / 800HT Fasteners (Nuts and Bolts) series for extreme corrosion resistance even in sour environments. Due to the high nickel and chromium content, Incoloy 800 bolts resist oxidation and carburization at high temperatures. The nickel content provides very good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting. By conventional methods, these fasteners are formed by cold and hot working processes. To increase ductility and hardness, our highly developed cells perform standard welding and forming processes.

304 also contains 8-10.5% nickel (Ni). It is added to make the austenite structure more stable at room temperature. Nickel also improves high temperature oxidation resistance, making the steel resistant to stress corrosion cracking. Where the steel is to be stretch formed, a lower percentage (8%) of nickel should be chosen. Higher percentages are better (9% or more) if the steel is to be deep drawn.
