ALLOY400 is a single-phase solid-solution Ni-Cu alloy with good mechanical properties from sub-zero temperatures up to about 550 ¡ãC (1020 ¡ãF) and is approved for pressure vessels with wall temperatures from -10 to 425 ¡ãC (14 to 800 ¡ãF) according to VdTUV-Wbl. 263 and up to 900 ¡ãF (480 ¡ãC) according to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

The ASTM A105 standard refers to carbon steel flanges that are forged for high-temperature applications in a pressure system.

The Hastelloy C276 Flanges have high melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius. This high melting point allows for higher operating temperatures of the flanges. The material also has 790MPa minimum tensile strength and 355MPa minimum yield strength.

316 stainless steel is more resistant to corrosion than 304 stainless steel, especially chlorides. UNS N08031 Nut is a nitrogen-added iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. Also known as WNR 1.4562 Nuts, its pitting resistance in high chloride environments is between super-austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys. The alloy has very good corrosion resistance in mixed acid and high chloride environments. Typical applications for these nuts are control lines, heat exchangers, control and instrumentation pipes, etc. Industries that primarily use this grade are chemical processing, oil and gas, etc.
