Astm B564 Uns N06601 Flanges Inconel 601 Flanges are made up of a nickel chromium alloy. The material grads range differently with the composition ratio. The 601 grade has 58% nickel, 21% chromium, carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, copper and iron in the composition. There are different types such as socket weld flanges, welded neck flanges, Inconel 601 Slip On Flanges, orifice flanges and so on. The flanges made of this material are strong, corrosion resistant to acids, reducing agents and oxidation and are also harder.

Alloy steel is steel that is alloyed with a variety of elements in total amounts between 1.0% and 50% by weight to improve its mechanical properties. Alloy steels are broken down into two groups: low alloy steels and high alloy steels. The difference between the two is disputed. Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an addition of tungsten designed to have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments.Alloy C-276 is one of the most universally corrosion resistant alloys available today. It is used in a variety of environments ranging from moderately oxidizing to strong reducing conditions. Alloy C-276 has exceptional resistance to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, chlorides, solvents, wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine solutions.

Although the material has good tensile strength at moderately high temperatures, the use of Incoloy 800 round bar at elevated temperatures results in a reduction in its tensile strength. However, like most austenitic stainless steel alloys, UNS N08811 bright bar has proven to be a useful asset, especially in environments with high levels of corrosive media.

Alloy 625 / Inconel 625 is used for its high strength, excellent fabricability (including joining), and outstanding corrosion resistance.
