Inconel 600 round bars are effective against drying Cl2 and many other different gases at mild and high temperatures. Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

SAE 304 stainless steel is the most common stainless steel. The steel contains both chromium (between 18% and 20%) and nickel (between 8% and 10.5%)[1] metals as the main non-iron constituents. It is an austenitic stainless steel. It is less electrically and thermally conductive than carbon steel. It is magnetic, but less magnetic than steel. It has a higher corrosion resistance than regular steel and is widely used because of the ease in which it is formed into various shapes.[1]

The microstructure and composition of the duplex 2205 alloy provides corrosion resistance superior to Type 316 or 317 in many environments, and its minimum yield strength is more than double that of conventional austenitic stainless steels.

Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium-based alloy that is commonly used in high-temperature applications such as aerospace and gas turbines. One of the most important factors in the production of ASTM B670 Inconel 718 Sheet is the plate rolling process. There are two main types of Inconel 718 plates available on the market: hot rolled and cold rolled plates.

Alloy 825 bolts have good mechanical properties from low temperatures to moderately high temperatures up to about 1000¡ãF. Microstructural changes that significantly reduce ductility and impact strength occur when used at temperatures above 1000¡ãF.

Alloy steel pipes are used for high temperature and very low temperature service (low temperature) in the energy industry, or for very high pressure applications.
