Astm A240 347 1.4550 Stainless Plate Hot-Rolled Sus-304 1.0Mm 4X 304 Carbon Steel Coil

When the chromium content of the alloy is below a minimum of 12%, for example in the aerospace industry, the term “corrosion resistant steel” is used. Stainless steel comes in different grades and surface finishes, depending on where it is used.

347 STAINLESS STEEL PLATE, SS 347 PLATE, 347 STEEL PLATE, HOT ROLLED 347 STEEL PLATE, COLD ROLLED 347 STEEL PLATE, 347 HR PLATE, 347 CR PLATE, ASTM A240 TYPE 347 PLATE, UNS S34700 PLATE

Alloy 347 (UNS S34700) is columbium stabilized austenitic stainless steel plate with good general corrosion resistance and somewhat better resistance in strong oxidizing conditions than 321 (UNS S32100). UNS S34700 plate has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800 – 1500°F (427 – 816°C). The alloy has good oxidation resistance and creep strength to 1500°F (816°C). UNS S34700 plate also possesses good low temperature toughness. cold rolled 347 steel plate is also advantageous for high temperature service because of its good mechanical properties. A240 Alloy 347 stainless steel plate offers higher creep and stress rupture properties than Alloy 304 and, particularly, Alloy 304L, which might also be considered for exposures where sensitization and intergranular corrosion are concerns.

0.8mm stainless steel plate 304

A240 347 and 347H stainless steel plate is a general purpose austenitic stainless steel with a face centered cubic structure. A240 SS 347 plate is non-magnetic in the annealed condition and can only be hardened by cold working. Niobium has been added to suppress grain boundary chromium carbide precipitation. 347H is the higher carbon version of 347 plate. Due to the additional carbon present in 347H plate, it is tougher and generally more durable than 347 plate. Alloy 347 (S34700) is stabilized stainless steel plate which offers as its main advantage an excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range from 800 to 1500°F (427 to 816°C). S34700 stainless steel plate is stabilized by the addition of columbium and tantalum.
