AL6XN is a 6 moly alloy that was developed for and is used in highly aggressive environments. It has high nickel (24%), molybdenum (6.3%), nitrogen and chromium contents that give it excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, chloride pitting, and exceptional general corrosion resistance. AL6XN is primarily used for its improved pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chlorides. It is a formable and weldable stainless steel.

The flanges are made in different face types. The face types range as flat face, raised face and ring type joint. The SA182 F55 RTJ Flange has a ring type joint. The flange is fixed in two halves.

ASTM A182 F51 Flange is made up of a duplex steel material. The material has both ferritic and austenitic qualities in the metallurgic microstructure. The tensile strength of the material is 620MPa and the minimum yield strength is 450MPa.

This flange contains a small amount of niobium to improve the weldability of the flange, has a minimum yield strength of 15 ksi and is moderately tough.

Hastelloy X is a nickel base alloy that possesses exceptional strength and oxidation resistance up to 2200¡ãF. It has also been found to be exceptionally resistant to stress-corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. The alloy has excellent forming and welding characteristics.
HASTELLOY? X alloy (UNS N06002 (W86002) is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum
alloy that possesses an exceptional combination of oxidation resistance, fabricability and
high-temperature strength. It has also been found to be exceptionally resistant to stresscorrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. X alloy exhibits good ductility after prolonged exposure at temperatures of 1200, 1400, 1600¡ãF (650, 760 and 870¡ãC) for 16,000
hours.

316 steel pipe is appropriate for applications that require corrosion resistance above other traits. Ferritic or martensitic types of steel (those made with the most chromium) are manufactured to be either heat-treated or annealed.

316 pipe bend contains a minimum 2.0% molybdenum which makes it much more corrosion resistant than 304 however, as it is a more expensive element, generally makes 316 a more expensive grade of metal.

It accounts for around 80% of overall duplex stainless steel production.

An important feature of Incoloy UNS N08800 Elbow is that it not only exhibits good mechanical properties at ambient temperature conditions, but also performs well at high temperature settings up to 1000¡ãF.

Incoloy 825 alloy is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that combines molybdenum, copper and titanium for excellent resistance to many corrosive environments. Incoloy 825 is very corrosion resistant. It has a high nickel content, sufficient to resist chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, and a very stable austenitic configuration.

A standard AMS 5666 or UNS N06625 variant of Inconel 625 may contain 58% nickel, 22% chromium, and 3.5% niobium.
