Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. The Inconel alloy pipes produced are tested for several mechanical properties like tensile and yield strength, elongation along with both non-destructive electric and hydrostatic tests. These hot finished or cold worked alloy pipes are well suited for use in applications that demand the need for general corrosion resistance properties. Regular welded pipes are susceptible to intergranular corrosion.

Alloy 625 is especially useful where oxidation resistance and pitting avoidance are required. In the annealed condition, this Inconel is fully austenitic and suitable for machining. Due to its high alloy content, it provides excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of severely corrosive environments. With a nickel content of nearly 60%, it is virtually immune to stress corrosion cracking.

Grade 304L is a low carbon version of 304 which does not require post weld annealing and is therefore widely used for heavy duty components (about 6mm+). The higher carbon grade 304H can be used at elevated temperatures. The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even at low temperatures.

1.4529 (UNS N08926) has very high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media and in acidic environments containing sulfur and hydrogen
It can effectively resist chloride ion stress corrosion, and also has good corrosion resistance and good stability in oxidizing and reducing media.
The mechanical properties are slightly better than 904L, and it can be used in the manufacture of pressure vessels from -196 to 400 ¡ãC.

The material has an ultimate tensile strength of 1375 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 1100 MPa.

It is used in flue gas desulfurizations systems because of its excellent resistance to sulfur compounds and chloride ions encountered in most scrubbers. C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to pitting and to stress- corrosion cracking.

Stainless steel UNS S31600 bolts are commonly used in food preparation machinery primarily in chloride atmospheres. SS 316 Hex Bolts are an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy containing molybdenum.
