AL6XN is a superaustenitic stainless steel with outstanding resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has high nickel (24%), molybdenum (6.3%), nitrogen and chromium contents that give it excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, chloride pitting, and exceptional general corrosion resistance. AL6XN is primarily used for its improved pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chlorides. It is a formable and weldable stainless steel.

UNS N08367 also commonly referred to as alloy AL6XN is a low carbon, high purity, nitrogen-bearing “super-austenitic” nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion.

Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. Due to its high nickel content, Inconel 600 is extremely resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Age hardening is not required as Inconel 600 is hardened and strengthened by cold work only. The Inconel 600 can operate in temperatures as low as 700¡ãF (370¡ãC).

Nickel based 800 Incoloy Hexagonal Pipe is known to have a good resistance to corrosion. Specifically speaking, the Incoloy 800 Pipe offers sufficient resistance against both carburization as well as oxidation corrosion.

Carbon steel flange is a kind of rim formed at the end of the pipe when it is fixed on the pipe. It is used to seal the ends of pipes, valves or other connections. It has high tensile strength and is available with convex surfaces and supports for easy installation. It is an iron-carbon alloy containing up to 2.1 wt.% carbon. Carbon steel does not have minimum specified levels of other alloying elements, but it usually contains manganese.

UNS S32205 Duplex Steel ASME SA182 Butt Weld Flanges are suitable for seawater and power generation equipment because their smooth surfaces can withstand temperatures up to 600¡ãF, while also having excellent flow characteristics.

Hastelloy C-276 is a Ni Mo CR superalloy added with tungsten, which has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh environments. The high content of Ni and Mo makes the Ni steel alloy particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environment, while CR transfers the performance of anti-oxidation medium.

Although molybdenum is a good element, excessive use of it may reduce the creep ductility of Gr F11 plate flanges. Graphitization and decomposition of iron carbide may occur when the temperature exceeds 500 degrees Celsius. Chromium has been added to SA A182 F11 alloy steel CL.2 forged pipe flanges to prevent creep ductility reduction and graphitization. In addition, the added chromium also provides oxidation resistance.

Duplex steel flanges are widely used in the used engineering, machinery and automotive industries. Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened metal. Nickel 200 Bar Stock contains 99.6% wrought nickel by weight and is considered commercially pure nickel. DIN 2.4066 Bar has good mechanical and physical properties. For example, ASTM B160 N02200 has excellent resistance to many corrosive compounds as well as corrosive environments. Meanwhile, Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened wrought alloy that can be designed as round bars and rods. These two components are used interchangeably and can be distinguished from certain key functions.

Nickel-copper-based alloy 400 Monel 2.4360 cold drawn rod is virtually immune to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking when exposed to corrosive media in typical environments. Monel 400 is a copper and nickel based alloy that is popular today due to its high performance. The alloy has excellent acid and alkali resistance. In addition, it has good tensile strength, ductility, excellent thermal conductivity, and can be hardened by cold work. Additionally, it can be used in applications with temperatures ranging from minus to 538 degrees Celsius.

Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

Inconel 600 round bar is a nickel-based alloy with benign carburization and excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Inconel 600 round bars are effective against drying Cl2 and many other different gases at mild and high temperatures. Alloy 600 bar is a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance and resistance to chloride pressure decomposition cracking, high cleanliness water corrosion and acid oxidation at elevated temperatures.
