Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. The Monel400 bar is a nickel-copper alloy (about 67% ni-23% Cu) that is resistant to seawater and steam as well as salt and corrosive solutions at high temperatures.

The lower carbon content of 304L alloy helps to minimize/eliminate carbide precipitation during welding. This allows 304L stainless steel to be used “as welded”, even in severely corrosive environments. If you use standard 304 stainless steel in the same way, it will degrade faster at welded joints.

Inconel X750 is an alloy that has a high resistance to corrosion and oxidation.

Incoloy alloys belong to the Inconel family. This means that the alloy can be used at high temperatures. At high temperatures, a problem associated with certain grades of stainless steel is oxidation. The chemical composition of Incoloy 800 fasteners allows them to be used at high temperatures. The higher the carbon content, the more chance they have to withstand high temperatures. Therefore, manufacturers produce derivative alloys of UNS N08800 bolts, called Alloy 800H and Alloy 800HT, which have slightly different chemical compositions.

ASTM A182 UNS S32750 Flanges is the most common super duplex grade that has an enhanced pitting and crevice corrosion resistance compared with the ordinary austenitic or duplex types.

HASTELLOY C276 is a Nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy that is considered the most versatile corrosion resistant alloy available. Alloy C-276 is frequently used in many industries, including chemical and petrochemical processing, oil and gas, power generation, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper production and waste water treatment. End use applications include stack liners, ducts, dampers, scrubbers, stack gas reheaters, heat exchangers, reaction vessels, evaporators, transfer piping and many other highly corrosive applications.
