AL6XN is primarily used for its improved pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chlorides. It is a formable and weldable stainless steel.

Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

Stainless Steel 316 is an austenitic grade designed with excellent nickel and chromium content. This grade also contains a small amount of silicon, which improves the oxidation resistance of the module. In fact, stainless steel 1.4401 is often used in process streams containing halides such as chlorides because of its resistance to said compounds. The addition of molybdenum to stainless steel 316 tube alloys not only improves resistance to chloride pitting but also general corrosion.

ASTM A1082 specification alloy S31803 fasteners have higher pitting and crevice corrosion than stainless steel alloy 316. ASTM B564 601 Raised Face Flange Inconel 601 Flanges are made up of a nickel chromium alloy. The material grads range differently with the composition ratio. The 601 grade has 58% nickel, 21% chromium, carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, copper and iron in the composition. There are different types such as socket weld flanges, welded neck flanges, Inconel 601 Slip On Flanges, orifice flanges and so on. The flanges made of this material are strong, corrosion resistant to acids, reducing agents and oxidation and are also harder.

Inconel 600 Flanges are made up of a type of nickel chromium alloy. There are different grades of nickel chromium alloys each differ with the chemical compositions.

ASME SA 479 Duplex Steel UNS S32205 Hex Bolts are commonly used in chemical processing, transportation and storage – pressure vessels, tanks, piping and heat exchangers.
