Inconel 800, 800H and 800HT are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with excellent strength and good rust and carburization resistance at high temperature exposure. These types of nickel metal alloys are the same except that the 800H alloy has a higher carbon content, and about 1.20% aluminum and titanium are added to the 800HT alloy.

This alloy is more resistant to nickel under reducing conditions and more resistant than copper under oxidizing conditions, it does show however better resistance to reducing media than oxidizing.
