HT PIPE uses high-grade stainless steels, including 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 904L, and 254SMO. 1. Welding Methods:  

   • TIG/MIG/SAW: Used for root passes and filling layers, ensuring precision and minimal heat distortion.  

   • Plasma Welding: Applied for high-purity applications, such as pharmaceutical or food-grade pipelines.  

 

2. Critical Welding Practices:  
   • Pre-Weld Preparation:  

     Beveling: Mechanical or plasma cutting for clean edges, followed by removal of contaminants (oil, rust) within 20mm of the weld zone.  

     Anti-spatter measures: Use of anti-spatter agents or protective coatings on stainless steel surfaces to prevent contamination.  
 

   • Welding environment control:  

      Maintain argon shielding during TIG welding to avoid oxidation.  

      Avoid welding in humid or high-wind conditions to prevent porosity.  
 

   • Post-Weld Treatment:  

     Pickling and passivation: Removes oxide layers and enhances corrosion resistance.  

     Solution Annealing: For stress relief in thick-walled components.
