STANDARDS

DIN 2545Download

DIN 2545 specifies welding neck flanges (also referenced under EN 1092-1 Type 11 for high-pressure service) rated at PN 100. The long tapered neck transitions smoothly from the pipe bore, providing excellent mechanical strength and fatigue resistance. This makes it the preferred choice for high-pressure, high-temperature, and cyclic-loading applications in oil & gas, petrochemical, and power generation. Covers sizes DN 10 to DN 400.

⚠ High-Pressure Service Requirements

PN 100 flanges require careful material selection for elevated temperatures. Pressure-temperature derating per EN 1092-1 must be applied above 120°C. For sour gas (NACE) or high-H₂S service, specify A350 LF3 or A182 F51 (Duplex) materials. HT PIPE engineering can advise on material compatibility.
